Mrs.Sheeba Ameer founded Solace in 2007 to support families with ill children. Over 5000 children benefited from their services.

Solace is committed to care and support of children having serious Health related sufferings .We provide financial, Social, Emotional, and educational support for these children and their families. Our mission to help these children to navigate through the turbulence the long term illness through community participation

Vision

Ailing children, their parents and you..... None of us are isolated entities. For every being, sentient and insentient in this universe, are bound as in a beautiful chain, together in interdependence. All beings rely on one another, their profound mutuality rising up like a song of Universal Brotherhood. SOLACE is a medium for this.

Objectives

Medical Support

Provide financial assistance for medical treatments and post-operation medication for children with long-term and life-threatening illnesses.

Offer therapeutic interventions (e.g., physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy) to enhance children's overall well-being.

Social Support

Address basic living needs (e.g., house rents, home repairs) for a safe and healthy living environment.

Extend educational support to ensure continuity in the affected child's academic journey.

Provide emotional support and food kits for families struggling with a child's illness and financial challenges.

Organize transportation for registered children to facilitate medical treatments.

Family Strengthening Program

Empower mothers of sick children through skill development programs (e.g., tailoring, umbrella making, soap making, carpet making).

Facilitate sustainable and dignified lives for mothers by enhancing their employment opportunities and economic independence.

Sibling Care

Address the emotional needs of siblings affected by a sick child.

Support the education of siblings impacted by a brother or sister's illness.

Shafeek’s rare birth defect necessitated urgent surgery. Solace, backed by compassionate individuals and ‘Solace USA,’ secured funds, facilitated the successful procedure, and continued support for his medical needs and family’s well-being.
